THE SECOND ANNUAL BUCKS COUNTY EAT, DRINK & BE MERRY MONTH BEGINS AUGUST 15

Thirty-two of the Most Popular Dining Destinations in Bucks County have Signed on as Official Partners

August 5, 2024 – Buckingham Township, PA – We are happy to announce the Second Annual Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry Month will begin August 15 and run through September 15. This month-long event will directly benefit our local Bucks County cancer community through the non-profit Kin Wellness and Support Center. Last year this event generated nearly $25,000, which the non-profit is looking to top this year.

We are asking people to eat and drink at our partner’s establishments. How it works; when people throughout the community order a designated appetizer, entrée, drink or dessert from participating partner restaurants or bars, a percentage of their order will benefit our local cancer community through Kin Wellness and Support Center. People can eat, drink and be merry while both supporting local businesses and our cancer community at Kin.

Our official 2024 participating Partners: Café with Soul, Ardana Food and Drink (Warrington & Newtown), KC Prime, Ardana Pizza Co., MORE Catering, The Good Gyro, Vitality Fit Kitchen, Heirloom, Nat’s Pizzeria, Karla’s Restaurant, Turning Point (Warrington), Carlucci’s Grill, Doylestown Inn, Coach’s, Spuddy Buddy Fry Factory, Plumsteadville Inn, Jersey Mike’s (Doylestown), The Farm House Tavern, Servis Events, Poco’s, Frost, Lovebird (Newtown), Nektar, Green Parrot, Spuntino, Free Will Brewing, Borscht Belt, TeVa Rolls, Villa Capri, V-Spot and Maxwell’s on Main (M.O.M’s).

The Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry Month has a dedicated webpage at www.welcometokin.org where all participating partner locations are listed with their logo and a hyper-link to their business. As a visual indicator, all participating locations will receive a partnership window decal to display, as well as branded table tents for all tables.

Last year Café with Soul raised and donated over $6,000 during Eat, Drink and Be Merry Month, the owner Joel Zazyczny shares his motivation, “Cafe with Soul is honored to participate in Bucks County Eat, Drink and Be Merry for a second successive year, as we continue to spread the word and financially contribute to Kin Wellness and Support Center.   Since most of us are connected to someone who has or is suffering from cancer, it is imperative that the community supports the holistic transformation of cancer patients’ well-being by cultivating comfort cancer care at Kin.”

Keith Fenimore, Executive Director and Founding member of Kin shares, “We hope this event inspires people to get out and eat and drink (responsibly). This is a great excuse to try a new restaurant or a new dish, support our local businesses and of course support our community funded non-profit! We have worked hard to integrate in our community in a meaningful way and create events that are unique, immersive and supportive of our mission and the local business community!”

We credit and thank Vicky Child, owner of UPS Buckingham and New Hope for donating all the window decals and the table tents that will be used to promote this event!
